Introduction
Rangers Unite are a group of fans who believe ultimately in fan ownership, but also in fan interaction, the fans having a bigger say in the club they continually support, without necessarily owning the club. As paying fans ourselves, we believe that efforts must now be put in place to ensure that nothing like the recent months ever happens to our club again and that should the worst ever happen, this time we are ready with ideas, initiative and a plan to support the club, we don’t envisage the worst happening again, but we need to be prepared this time.
We believe that the worldwide Rangers support have the talent, financial ability, and energy to take a bigger say in our clubs control, ensuring that the recent turmoil faced by all supporters will never happen again.
Our purpose is to deliver fan participation and innovation to the worldwide Rangers support.
We have the fans, we have the skills, it’s time we believe it
We’re all in this together. Our ultimate goal is that the fans of Rangers will own the club in the longer term, giving every supporter the chance to be involved and prevent the previous situation we found ourselves in from ever happening again, the short and mid term we completely support the fans having a bigger, meaningful say in the club working towards a brighter future.
Our Plan is to gain majority control of our club, so that we never again revisit the stress and fear we have recently all been through.
We believe in Core Purposes within our Mission Statement to centre the focus and bring back the backbone our club has lost through the two previous regimes on nullifying and deviding the worldwide Rangers Support.
The Core Purposes
Fan Interaction
Fan Involvement
Fan Ownership
If we have the say, we can make it right
We are aware of the considerable fan base of The Rangers the world over – this fan power, combined with the right people, attitude, plan and ethics can provide a successful way forward for the club, it’s owner and us fan ourselves
Mobile Fan Liaison Unit
We would like to introduce a Mobile Fan Liaison Unit which will be a specially adapted vehicle/coach that will be at all away games, domestic and foreign.
This will allow fans to interact with the club, to put forward ideas on taking the club forward, and see what is happening behind the scenes, giving the fans a chance to take part in the club.
During the close season we would look to take it out on tour to connect with further afield groups.
This would allow us to connect with the regional representatives and fans in those areas, and allow the individual members to bring in ideas to improve this facility or expand it.
All non-members would be welcome to browse the unit at any time.
The Renaming of Facilities and Stands
Members would be asked to vote on the renaming of Auchenhowie, as well as any of the stands, the only exception being the Bill Struth Stand, which will remain as is.
